St. Isabella School

St. Isabella School is located in the Copperfield community and opened in September 2019, it is one of the newest additions to 1st Class After Class family. The 1st Class After Class – St. Isabella School which will offer a Before and After School program and Kindergarten Program off site.
At 1st Class After Class - St. Isabella School, our staff are dedicated to creating an environment where children will have opportunities to explore and discover the world around us and to engage in a wide array of play experiences that foster the development of social, physical, creative, emotional and intellectual growth through play and recreation.
Group Play
It is a time for story and language development, music and movement activities, and other varied learning experiences.
Dramatic Play
Our programs all have a pretend and learn area devoted to developing a child’s sense of “make believe”.
Before & After Grade 1-6
Our before and after-care programs go well beyond homework help. We support children in becoming the kindest, most capable, and most resilient version of themselves.
Activities
With regular outdoor time and planned indoor activities, our children experience a world of movement, dance and recreation.
Reading
Books allow children to enter a world of “make believe” and learn about new and exciting things.
Kindergarten Care
Our programs use a curriculum that is individualized to every age, with planned activities that combine learning and fun to create happy, curious kids.
Carlee Neufeld
Program Director
Meet Ms. Carlee! She has been in the Childcare Industry for over 15 years, working with special needs children, running a day home for many years, and continuing with 1st Class for the last 4 years. Ms. Carlee is currently in school and working towards achieving the highest level of education in early childhood education. Ms. Carlee loves spending time getting to know each child and their interests. she says, “she learns something new everyday from working along side the children”.
Carlee is a mother to 2 daughters. In her spare time, you will find her spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys driving her Camaro, Camping, the outdoors, relaxing, and looking after her many house plants.
